Three die in dawn accident in Lavington
Three people died and several others injured in an early morning accident in which a 14-seater matatu collided with a City Hoppa bus.
The accident happened at around 5:30am along Gitanga Road in Lavington after the matatu driver lost control and hit the oncoming bus.
Two of those who died were relatives. The third victim was a child.
According to a survivor, an argument between the passengers, conductor and driver in the matatu over fare led to the accident.
