Three shot in Kamukunji’s botched robbery

A botched robbery has left three people nursing gunshot wounds after an armed robber shot indiscriminately at passersby in Kamukunji area.

The three victims were said to have been passersby who were outside Plaza Printers, located along Cross road in Kamukunji, when four thugs attempted to steal from the premise.

According to a worker at the shop, one of the four robbers posed as a customer and asked to buy a box file.

“He came in at around 1 p.m on Wednesday and gave one of the shop attendants Sh200 for a box file he wanted to buy. Moments later, the other three came in and one drew out a pistol,” the employee told Nairobi News but he declined to be named for fear of his security.

The workers then screamed for help as other customers scampered out of the shop for safety.

It was during that commotion that one of the robbers fired indiscriminately outside injuring the three.
