Travel firm Bonfire Adventures bags award


Bonfire Adventures has been feted at the 29th annual travel awards in Nairobi.

The travel firm, owned by business couple Simon and Sara Kabu, emerged tops in the Kenya travel agency award category.

The event was held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).

“A big thank you for voting for us, we won,” the firm posted on its socials.

Among those present were entertainers Milly Chebby and Terence Creative, Size 8 and DJ Mo, and Milly and Kabi Wa Jesus.

Simon Kabu revealed in an earlier interview how the firm started from scratch with a Sh10,000 capital.

Being married and working together, Sarah and Simon Kabu have long served couples goals on social media with many of their fans lauding them for their dedication to both their union and thriving business.

However, the couple experienced a dramatic past year after Sarah opened up about her marriage being a ‘scam’.

Many of their followers were bamboozled following Sarah’s revelation that she’s had been unhappy for years and was tired of pretending to have a happy marriage.

She later retracted her previous remarks saying that she and her husband were dealing with their issues privately.

Simon, on the other hand shared with a YouTuber that his marriage to Sarah is going well, and advised people not to believe what they hear on the internet.
