TV presenter Willy Tuva addresses dating reports

Media personality Willy M Tuva has denied dating gengetone artist Sylvia Saru aka Ssaru wa Manyaru.

The TV and radio presenter addressed these reports in a YouTube interview.

“Everybody who’s in the limelight must be mentioned somewhere. If you have a name in the public eye you must be associated with someone,” said Mr Tuva.

The self proclaimed parent of contemporary music in East Africa further claimed most stories shared on social media platforms are fake.

“Anybody can say anything. Not everything you see or hear is true. Most of the things you’ll see and read are fake stories. But for the ones that may be true, dig a little deeper. As a parent, I have a family that I greatly respect and I thank God that I continue to nurture.”

Tuva has for many years provided a platform for young, upcoming artistes across East Africa to showcase their music and thus earned himself the label as the parent of contemporary music.

For such a public figure, he’s strived and succeeded at keeping his personal life away from the limelight.

Following his passion and drive to help young artists succeed in their art, artistes and fans alike have christened him ‘Mzazi’ (parent).

He is not only famous locally but also in East Africa and Africa after he won the prestigious Best Radio/TV Personality Of The Year AfriMMA Award 2019.

Willy Tuva commands a huge following on social media where he engages and interacts with his followers and fans everyday.

On the other hand, Ssaru is dubbed Kenya’s Nicki Minaj as she showcases her rapping prowess and an enigmatic knack for lyricism. She has over the few years in the music scene gained a massive fan base, and her songs continue receiving great local airplay. Her journey to fame is nothing short of fantastic and inspiring.
