Here’s how Twitter reacted to Kabogo’s defeat
Kiambu Governor William Kabogo on Tuesday was defeated by Kabete Member of Parliament Ferdinand Waititu in a Jubilee primary that was touted as a battle of the titans.
Even before the official results were announced the flamboyant governor said that he was not going to waste his time arguing with what was obvious.
His remarks came as early results showed Waititu commanding an early lead in most polling stations.
Kabogo told the media that there was an unnamed individual who did not want him in the race.
After he conceded defeat social media also reacted. Here are some of the reactions from Twitter.
Today gamblers and Politicians are speaking the same language… Ni polling station tu moja imenitoa??? #Kiambu#Kabogo#Waititu#Fagiawote

Kabogo is very hardworking but arrogant. Waititu voted in to prove a point. Am sure after five years people will be more dissapointed.

Waititu’s win over Kabogo is not a landslide. It’s an continental drift #PunjabDerby
