Two armed robbers shot dead in Huruma
Police shot dead two armed robbers in Huruma on Wednesday and recovered a pistol and 20 rounds of ammunition.
The two were part of a four-man gang that had entered into a wines and spirits shop in Huruma corner.
The suspicious owner of the premise called a policeman, who is also a friend, seeking for help. The policeman then tipped his colleagues about the gang.
Police claim the gang opened fire at them and they retaliated, killing two of the spot.
The two other gang members escaped on foot.
