Two dead, 10 injured in Utawala road crash
Two people died and at least 10 others injured Monday morning in a crash involving a matatu and a Range Rover on the Eastern bypass near Utawala estate, Nairobi County.

Nairobi traffic commandant Edward Mwamburi said the injured were rushed to various hospitals within the city.
“We have sent officers to various hospitals to check the number of the injured,” he said.
According to Kenya Red Cross, the crash occurred after the Range Rover rammed into the matatu.
“10 casualties evacuated to Sharom Health Centre,” a tweet by Kenya Red Cross Emergency Medical Services stated.
Police say one person died at the scene while another passed away on the way to hospital.
