Uhuru carried along Sonko to Kagame’s inauguration
Nairobi Governor-elect Mike Sonko on Friday accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta to Rwanda for President Paul Kagame’s inauguration.
The governor-elect could not hide his joy at his maiden trip out of the country as Naiorbi boss.

Since his election, Sonko has hit the road running with a clean up campaign in several city estates.
He compared Nairobi to Kigali by saying, “For Nairobi to be as clean as Kigali we have to work day & night & come up with environmental policies that’ll be followed by all Nairobians.”
