Uhuru repeats ‘kuzururazurura’ jibe and Kenyans make their own interpretations

President Uhuru Kenyatta has within a space of days poked fun at his deputy William Ruto for what he calls ‘loitering’ around the country.

The president’s latest remarks came on Saturday during the burial of mama Virginia Ciarunji, mother to National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi in Siakago, Embu County.

On this occasion the president made it look like he was endorsing Ruto’s increased criss-crossing in the country while on inspection tour of development projects.

“I am told there is this primary school where most of you from this village attended which has an issue with the laboratory. So in memory of the deceased I want it to be repaired so that students here remember mama and then when (Deputy President) William (Ruto) will be moving around he will come and inspect it.”

This is the second time inside four days that the President is making the remark, which has been interpreted differently by Kenyans on social media.
