Umoja MCA accused of assaulting and drawing gun on youths


Umoja MCA Kingsley Odida has been accused for beating and threatening to shoot youths for working for the area MP George Theuri.

The Friday incident happened as the MP was about to commission the new police post in Umoja 2 area.

The occasion had been graced by Senator Mike Sonko and Nairobi police boss Benson Kibue.

The MCA Friday morning beat up the youths who had been hired for the construction of the police post.

He wielded his gun openly and threatened to shoot anyone who tried to stop him.

The MCA has in the past beaten and threatened to kill a journalist who had written articles about him.

He was also in the news recently for threatening a constituent on social media who had posted a negative comment about him.
