Victor Peace sets record straight on his ‘relationship’ with Wabosha Maxine

Lifestyle influencer Victor Karanja, popularly known as Victor Peace, has set the record straight on his rumoured relationship with beauty and lifestyle vlogger Wabosha Maxine.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Nairobi News during The Bar Soiree’s launch, Peace said the bond between him and Maxine is simply platonic as they have known each other for a long time.

The influencer went further to reveal that in light of the ongoing rumours that he is dating Maxine, the video that made rounds on the internet, sparking the relationship conversation, was a gig they both were assigned together.

“Wabosha is a good friend of mine since back in the day, so we happened to be doing the same campaign for EABL, so we were told to do it and we did it, and had so much fun doing it,” said Peace.

Peace added that he saw it coming because whenever he posts a woman on his socials, people are inclined to question his relationship status.

“I think it was bound to happen because it has happened in other situations where I have posted a woman on my social media, and every is constantly looking into who is this person going to date. I expected it,” he said.

The home and lifestyle creator reiterated that he is not dating anyone at the moment, including Maxine, and neither is he searching for a partner.

“No, we are not dating. I am not searching, I’m attracting,” Peace remarked.

Earlier this year in May, Victor Peace together with his ex-wife Cece Sagini announced the end of their four-year marriage. The two former lovebirds announced their split via coordinated posts on social media, saying the breakup was ultimately necessary for their general well-being and holistic happiness.

“After 4+ years of walking this journey as the best of friends, with much prayer and consideration, we have decided to come to the end of our road. As we once shared our journey publicly, it is in the same spirit that we share this statement,” the posts shared on their individual accounts read.

Without going into details, the couple, who made a name for themselves running the YouTube channel ‘The Peaces’, claimed the breakup was not due to ‘salacious events’ but mutual respect and understanding.

“Coming to this decision was tough but necessary for our general well-being and holistic happiness. There are no salacious events at the root of our decision. We still cherish our friendship and wish each other the very best,” they both noted.

Sagini, a high-flying musician, and Victor, an award-winning photographer and home decor influencer, got hitched sometime in 2015.
