Victoria Kimani denies having a crush on Jaguar
Songstress Victoria Kimani has said she has never had a crush on any Kenyan musician, and went even further to deny having feelings for musician Jaguar.
During an interview in Sporah Show, Victoria instead revealed South African rapper AKA as her African celebrity crush, describing him as sexy.
AKA, who last month made an appearance in Victoria’s latest video Show, is ranked among top artists in South Africa.
“I have a crush on AKA from South Africa. He is sexy and it’s just a crush and it’s not gonna be anything but a crush,” she told the Sporah Show.
The show’s host, Tanzanian Sporah Njau, dismissed the blanket statement, saying it could amount to anything especially with the coziness the two displayed in the Show video.
She prodded Victoria further, but the Prokoto hit singer made it clear that she would never have any crush on Kenyan musicians.
“Not even Jaguar?” Sporah asked.
“No,” Victoria replied matter of factly.
The singer has been rumored to have dated many Kenyan artists, but during the interview, she revealed that she has never dated anyone ever since she released her first single.
Asked what qualities she is looking for in a man, the Kenyan diva had a long list summarized into six.
“Honest, God fearing, a gentleman, hardworking, dress nice and handsome.”
The singer’s latest video Show has been widely criticised as being as too Nigerian, sentiments she dismissed during the interview.
She is signed with Nigeria’s Chocolate City.
