VIDEO: How Citizen TV anchor dislocated knee live on air

Citizen TV’s Willis Raburu on Tuesday morning dislocated his left knee cap while exercising during the Power Breakfast Show.

The anchor was participating in stretches during the show’s fitness segment led by an instructor when he suddenly fell down while writhing in pain.

Just before the mishap, Raburu had reiterated the instructor’s words that stretches would make him flexible stating, “So nikifanya hivi ntakuwa flexible?”

Moments later, the presenter fell and started screaming prompting the his co-host, Kirigo Ng’arua, to bring the session to a premature end as the instructor checked on him.

So now I’m on knee brace and crutches as I undergo some physiotherapy, I’ll be out of work for a while but will be back! Meanwhile keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Let’s keep talking online.”

Raburu has been co-hosting the show since the exit of Johnson Mwakazi who moved to manage a new television station.
