Waititu’s wife arrested by city officials in crackdown
Susan Wangare, the wife of Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu has been arrested over illegal constructions.
The director of Nairobi Governor’s communication Elkana Jacob said Wangare was, however, released on a Sh50,000 cash bail after Governor Mike Sonko intervened.
Ms Wangare had been arrested together with 14 individuals over illegal and unapproved construction of buildings in Nairobi among them the Jamii Bora building and Delta hotel among others.
