Police have launched a manhunt for a woman who stabbed and seriously injured a police officer on Sunday night after the latter ended their relationship.

Ms Pamela Njambi, 30, allegedly attacked the officer as he walked out of her house in Zimmerman, Nairobi County and stabbed him in the abdomen before she fled.

According to a statement by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the injured officer is based at Zimmerman Police Post.

The officer in a statement told his colleagues that Ms Njambi had invited him to her house in a bid to rekindle the already dead relationship.

Ms Zakayo allegedly committed the heinous act on Saturday, November 19, 2022 before fleeing the rental apartment where the deceased who worked as a driver at the Kenya School of Law (KSL) was residing.
