WATCH: Terminator hitmaker eyes collabo with Sauti Sol’s Bien


Ghanaian Afrobeat star, King Promise is in Nairobi, for the RahaFest at Uhuru Gardens, promising an unforgettable experience for his Kenyan fans.

During a press conference held on Friday, March 29, the talented Amapiano artist expressed his excitement about the warm reception he has received from Kenyan fans, particularly for his hit track “Terminator.”

He also revealed his intention to collaborate with Kenyan music icon, Sauti Sol.

“We will be working with Bien of Sauti Sol while in Kenya. This is my first time here, and I can’t wait to experience the wildlife, the food, and even the nightlife,” he enthusiastically shared.

King Promise fulfilled his promise to arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Friday, where he was warmly welcomed by the Raha Fest team and representatives from Radio Africa, the official media partners of the event.

Minutes after his arrival, King Promise urged his Kenyan fans to turn up in large numbers for what promises to be the concert of the year at Uhuru Gardens on Sunday, March 31st.

“First time in Kenya, and we are here to have fun and enjoy the city, the food, and everything, and we gonna smash it. Make sure you pull up to the show, and I will see you on Sunday, and let’s have a good time. I’m here for the first time, so let’s go,” King Promise declared.

The “Terminator” hitmaker is set to perform alongside other notable artists, including Ya Levis, who arrived in Nairobi on Thursday night. The lineup for Sunday’s event also includes Otile Brown, Bensoul, H-art the Band, Nadia Mukami, Boutross, Nviiri the Storyteller, Sanaipei Tande, and Melina Gold.

RahaFest promises two days of electrifying performances, with Saturday’s lineup featuring international superstar Davido, alongside South African artiste Musa Keys.

Other performers scheduled for Saturday include Iyanya, Mejja, Samidoh, DJ Neptune, Femi One, Logos Olori, Morravey, and Zeman.
