How weather, public transport have ‘conspired’ against Nairobians
Heavy rainfall being experienced in Nairobi in the evenings is beginning to frustrate many Nairobians who are forced to spend long hours in traffic.
In the past few days, the city has been characterized with heavy traffic and flooded roads following continuous rains.
Commuters using public service vehicles have particularly had to spend many cold hours on the streets, first queuing for matatus and bus, then enduring the long trip back home.
This is the reason why some Kenyans are now venting their frustration on Twitter.
Nairobi rain is not to be played with. Someone said they woke up past midnight wondering why they are so many people in his sitting room.
Turns out he was still in traffic in the matatu lmao.

What is wrong with Nairobi traffic? It took 5 hours from Westgate Mal to Carnivore. This is because of a little rain, seriously?
