It’s all about wefie as Infinix launches its latest gadget
Infinix has unveiled their latest cellphone, the S2 PRO (X522), with the capability to take that perfect group photo.
The new wefie (selfie with two or more people in it) phone is a successor to the Hot S, that has however dropped the prefix ‘Hot’ to distinguish itself from the first entrant in the S series.
FIRST EVER
The first ever wefie phone targets the latest trends of young consumers who want to take group photos.
It features trendsetting dual front cameras and the industry’s first ever application of an ultra-wide angle of 135°.
At the front, it has a 13MP standard and an extra 8MP for that perfect wefie, while at the back there is a standard 13MP camera with dual tone LED flash.
The S2 also comes with a 5.2 inch HD screen covered in 2.5D dragon tail glass.
FINGERPRINT READER
Other notable features include a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and 3GB of RAM. The fingerprint recognition is round to match the finger shape.
The phone also supports various fingerprint-based apps and is able to wake up certain software via your fingerprint, realizing comprehensive protection of personal information stored on the Smartphone.
S2 PRO will be available for sale exclusively from Monday on the online retailer, Jumia and it will retail at Sh15,699.
