When the house next door is a brothel
The growth of Nairobi as a regional hub has brought all sorts of business opportunities including a premium market for top-market escort services.
The sex trade has moved from its traditional heartland of known streets in the city centre, cheap hotels and lodgings, an in-depth investigation by NairobiNews today reveals.
The brothels have spread to virtually every corner of the capital, passed off as massage parlours or saunas and spas.
They exist everywhere from the high end neighborhoods of Kileleshwa, Hurlingham, Westlands, and Kilimani to middle class estates such as South B and C, Woodley, Ngong Road, Donholm, Eastleigh, Buruburu and Komarock among others.
