Why comedian Churchill refused to pick DP Ruto’s call
Details have now emerged on why comedian Daniel Ndambuki, popularly known as Churchill, recently ignored the call of Deputy President William Ruto.
Apparently, the comedian does not pick calls from callers not known to him.
And so the Deputy President dropped him an SMS saying; “Hi Churchill. This is the Deputy President. Please pick my call”
The comedian narrated this rather funny story on his Churchill Show programme on NTV.
“I couldn’t believe it and I thought its Kamiti prisoners. When the call came for the second time, I decided to pick and confront the con prisoner,” Churchill said
When the Deputy President introduced himself on phone, Churchill countered it, telling him he was the Pope.
Little did he know that it was actually the Deputy President who was calling him and not an imposter.
This made the crowd break in laughter.
“Bwana Ruto, namba ni ile ile. Tuma ile pesa yote unataka,” the King of Comedy said amid cheers from the crowd.
