Many youths are frustrated by the country’s lack of opportunities and see the Aupair jobs as a way out of poverty and lack of opportunities.
Some potential motivations for people seeking these kinds of jobs could include learning a new language and culture, gaining experience working with children, traveling and seeing new places, or earning extra money.
But for the Kenyan youth, it is the chance to get a visa and further their fortunes in a first-world country.
