Why you can’t access Lipa Na M-Pesa service
Safaricom says its popular Lipa Na M-Pesa service is currently unavailable.
The company had over the weekend announced an outage of all M-Pesa services for a scheduled upgrade of the mobile money platform.
The outage was to last until the early hours of Sunday morning.

But on Monday, users complained of being unable to access some M-Pesa services.
The telco confirmed the unavailability in a tweet: “Dear Customer, our Lipa Na M-PESA service is unavailable. We are working to resolve this immediately and apologize for the inconvenience.”
