I will end corruption and cleanup Nairobi – Miguna
Miguna Miguna has kicked off in earnest his quest to unseat Evans Kidero as the next Nairobi Governor, by unveiling a poster on social media which outlines his attributes.
The outspoken political commentator, who once served as close confidant and advisor to Cord leader Raila Odinga during the grand coalition government, used the poster to pass on the message of the main leadership ideals he stands for.
“My first name is INTEGRITY, my middle name is COURAGE, my last name is HOPE, my nickname is DEVELOPMENT,” Miguna announces.
While recently appearing as a guest at a political talk show on national television, Miguna promised to clear the corruption cartels at the Nairobi County Government and clean up the city if elected Governor during the August 2017 polls.
Miguna also promised to contract a reputable firm to do a thorough audit of the county government’s financial records and if need be, jail all those found guilty to have embezzled funds.
The outspoken Miguna is set to face competition from Kidero, politicians Mike Sonko, Johnson Sakaja, Dennis Waweru, Eugene Wamalwa and Margaret Wanjiru, who have all declared their interest in vying for the seat.
