Woman dies after being gang raped along with her daughters
A 43 year old woman has died after she was gang raped together with her three daughters by a gang of unknown people in Olo-siyan village Isinya, Kajiado county.
The deceased is said to have suffered from a shock and died after being rushed to hospital.
According to family members, the gang of seven armed with rungus descended on the village on Sunday night and on coming to the deceased’s house, they ordered everyone to lie down.
“They ordered as to lie down and covered us, so you couldn’t see who was doing the act),” said one eye witness.
The gang members also demanded for Sh75,000 contributed at a church fundraiser and they went on to rape the old woman, her daughter and two daughter in laws.

The deceased will be buried on Tuesday while her daughters are being treated at a nearby hospital.
The incident has added to the rising trend of women being raped in the area with police records in Isinya having six cases in two weeks.
The Isinya OCPD, Stephen Weda, said the police had visited the scene of crime and investigations were ongoing.
This even as Isinya residents call on the police to tighten security in the area as the gang has been terrorizing people for weeks.
Maendeleo ya Wanawake Chair Emily Sianto said, “As women we are so saddened and we are appealing to all stakeholders to prevent an occurrence of a similar incident.”
