Woman dies ‘mysteriously’ in her lover’s house

Police in Kamkunji Police Station are investigating an incident where a woman died while she was in the company of her lover.

Ms Faith Mueni, allegedly died on the night of Tuesday, November 22, 2022, while she was with Mr Peter Amwayi at the latter’s house in Ziwani within Kamkunji Sub-County, Nairobi County.

Mr Amwayi reported the incident to the police who processed the scene before taking the body to the City Mortuary.

In a similar incident, a businessman in Gikomba market on the same date also alerted police officers at Kamkunji Police Station that there was a dead body lying beside his shop.

“It was reported by Mr Anthony Musyoka a businessman within Gikomba market that there was a dead body next to his shop,” a report filed at the Kamkunji Sub-County police station reads in part.

Police officers who were on duty rushed to the scene where they processed the scene and confirmed that the deceased did not have any physical injuries.

The body was taken to the City Mortuary where it was filed as an unknown male adult.

Meanwhile, a 14-year-old boy on the night of Tuesday, November 22, 2022, died while he was asleep.

According to the father Mr Samuel Mburu Macharia, his son, a pupil at a local primary school, arrived home past mid-night with his shirt appeared to be torn.

“He came home with the torn shirt, appearing to have been beaten, only to be found dead the following morning,” a police report seen by Nairobi News reads in part.

The father told the police that his son has been away from school for the last three weeks over disciplinary issues.

According to the police, the deceased had bruises and injuries on the back, chest and on the forehead.

The body of the minor was moved to the City Mortuary.
