Woman places warning advert on ‘fraudster’ husband


A Ugandan woman has taken the spouses’ mistrust to a higher level as she placed an advert warning potential land buyers against transacting with her husband.

Mugunga Jane Frances Namisango in the newspaper advert titled ‘Caveat Emptor’ warned buyers not to buy land from her husband Mugunga Emmanuel Freddie without her consent.

“The photo appearing here is of my husband Mugunga Emmanuel Freddie, whom I am married to. The public is put on notice not to buy any land from husband without my consent,” read the advert.

The advert that was placed in a Ugandan newspaper went viral in Kenya eliciting mixed reactions.

A Facebook user Nyar Juma commented: “Wololo yaye hapa ndipo marriage life imefikisha some people, after this post ni mangumi zitarushwa wakipatana kwa nyumba.”

Abebo Darleen wrote: “This is not a laughing matter. For a wife to do this, only God knows what she has/is going through. Kudos to the lady.”

Recently, a Florida woman put her husband for sale on Facebook for failing to wish her a happy Mother’s Day.

Katie Bouyea told West Palm TV that it was only after she put up the post and it went viral her husband apologized and wished her a happy Mother’s Day.

“He didn’t say thank you, or even have the kids make me a homemade card like he might normally do, so I was a little frustrated,” she said.

In Kenya, a woman punished her husband for cheating by having him drive a car with her picture and a declaration of his love for her.

Photos of the car went viral on twitter with some users praising the woman for her actions while others castigated the move.
