Buruburu woman stabs lover to death in quarrel
Police in Buruburu have arrested a 21 year old girl suspected of stabbing her boyfriend to death on Sunday morning.
The two are said to have had an argument early morning and had a fight that resulted in the woman, Wanjiru Kamanda also sustaining stab wounds in her back.
Buruburu OCPD Richard Kerich said Ahmed Farid,24 died in hospital while undergoing treatment for the stab wounds.
“We have started investigation into the matter which happened at 9am at a house in Phase 3,” Mr Kerich said
In another incident, police have arrested a licensed firearm holder, Brian Sairu who fired a shot to scare barmaids after an altercation at a bar in Ruaka Saturday night.
His Ceska Pistol and 10 rounds of ammunition were confiscated and he is being held at the Gigiri Police Station.
