Wyre, Ricco Beatz to judge Yamaha Road Music Challenge
In a bid to promote talent and creativity among Kenyan youth, Yamaha by CFAO Motors has launched the Yamaha Motors Road Music Challenge.
The two-month competition requires participants to record a video of themselves singing to a special Yamaha music track, with the overall winner taking home a brand new Yamaha scooter motorcycle, while the first and second runners-up will take home Sh100,000 and Sh50,000 respectively.
The competition is open to all Kenyan citizens over the age of 18, while those under the age of 18 must have parental/guardian consent to enter the competition.
“The Yamaha Motors Road Music Challenge is not just a competition; it is a celebration of the power of music to unite, inspire and uplift us. With the brand’s slogan ‘Revs Your Heart’, we are calling on all Kenyans to bring their creativity and talent to life and boldly express their feelings through this challenge. I believe this will inspire the next generation of musical talent,” he said.
To enter the competition, participants must follow Yamaha by CFAO Motors on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter and download the tune from the link on the social media pages or the CFAO Motors Kenya website. The top 50 videos with the most likes on social media will be judged and approved by competition judges Kevin Waire, best known by his stage name Wyre Da Love Child and producer Ricco Beatz to move on to the next rounds.
The Yamaha Motors Road Music Challenge is part of CFAO Motors’ long-term agenda of creating long-lasting avenues to facilitate interaction with customers across all age groups.
