Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan’s Uganda house was allegedly raided by armed robbers who went away with valuables of unknown value including, Rolex watches, phones, jewelry and laptops,  and a licensed gun.

In a post on her socials, Zari shared that the thugs got into her house when she was away and even woke up family members demanding to know where some items were.

Zari also shared that her security guard was brutally attacked and injured in the raid. Attaching a photo of him on her socials, Zari said that the thieves even used the gun he had to hit him on the head.

“Yesterday my house in Uganda got broken into while I was out and they tied my security guy up and took a lot of stuff from the house, they butchered him, sliced his ear off, cut through his head, and used the AK47 that he had to hit him on the head. He was badly and brutally hurt. Got into the house, woke my family members up asked where is this and that, and managed to get away with quite a lot of things. But that is not the issue, we are safe, my family members are safe and the security guard hopefully heals but he was brutally attacked. They even had the audacity to ask where are the keys to the cars cause they wanted to drive the cars out and I think on hearing the police coming, they ran off. The ignition was on, they were ready to drive off.”

Additionally, the entrepreneur advised people to be extra vigilant during this holiday season and promised to work hand-in-hand with the Ugandan police to find the thieves.

“So watch out being the holiday season, people have targets. I mean, having security guards with guns I thought could make things easier but I guess extra caution is needed here. One thing is for sure I’m gonna work with the Ugandan police hand in hand because there was a gun stolen that is a government’s property and we are going to find you. Trust me. I felt vandalized getting into my bedroom and seeing things and my security guard, I feel so bad. I hope he heals because he was brutally attacked.”
