Zikki releases new hit ‘Kamata’ featuring Jamaican reggae artiste Tarrus Riley – VIDEO
Sensational feel good musician Zikki has released a new jam titled Kamata featuring celebrated reggae musician Tarrus Riley that is sure to win the hearts of his female fans.
Shot on the beaches in Portmore, a coastal city in Southern Jamaica, the video fires off compulsive rhymes full of vibes with a jolly flow into bikini clad dancers.
The love song blends the East African and the Jamaican culture into a harmonious bond of Swahili with Patwa powered by the melodious voices of Zikki and Tarrus Riley.
Zikki couldn’t hide his excitement on realizing his childhood dream when he met Tarrus at Jukebox Studio.
“Hey my Kenyan brother, how are you? ” Tarrus said while welcoming Zikki with a warm hug.

Tarrus also took time to learn a little Swahili, dropping a few lines like “Napenda vile wakata, wakatisa kata!!”
Zikki held the microphone in studio for just 15 minutes but won over Shane Brown, the renowned music producer behind Busy Signal, Alaine, Protégé, Chronixx among other international household names.
The video was filmed by Jay Will, another household name with over a 100 internationally acclaimed music videos.
He brings into life amazing shots of the sunset, fishing boats and sandy beaches of Portmore.
