Kelele Takatifu singer slammed over Sh15k debt drama

Gospel singer Silvanus Otieno, popularly known as Didi of the Kelele Takatifu duo, was on Tuesday
exposed online over a three year-old debt of Sh15, 000.

Facebook user Kifaru Mweusi claimed Didi had approached him for a Sh60,000 loan on February 6, 2014 to foot video production bills.

Kifaru Mweusi only managed to advance the singer a loan of Sh15, 000, but which Didi never been repaid to date.

Didi’s accuser uploaded screenshots of WhatApp messages between them and even shared the celebrity’s telephone number online.

Facebook users quickly sent dozens of messages to Didi demanding that he pays his accuser.

Nairobi News reached out to the ‘Itakuwa Ngori’ hitmaker who said; “I am not allowed to comment on the issue publicly because currently it is out of my hands and into the hands of people who can deal with it better.”

Users on Facebook have kept on texting and mocking the singer even as some commented of how they telephoned him to get his side of the story.

Kifaru Mweusi uploaded screenshots of his conversations with Didi.

The screenshot indicate how the singer had explained that some of the cash was used to pay for DVD printing for another artiste who Kifaru was sponsoring.
