Mugiithi star Samidoh among thousands graduating from JKUAT


Mugiithi sensation Samidoh on Friday celebrated a significant milestone as he graduated from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) with a degree in Business and IT.

The father of five joined thousands of fellow graduates in this year’s commencement ceremonies, marking a proud moment in his academic journey.

In a joyous post shared on his social media platforms, Samidoh expressed his excitement.

“Congratulations!! Fellow Graduands. Discover JKUAT. Leo hakuna kukunja sura na vile kwa hizi street mumekuwa,” he wrote.

His message was received with hundreds of congratulatory messages from his fans.

In a previous interview, the musician revealed his commitment to education despite facing financial challenges.

“I began that course as a diploma at Kenya Polytechnic and I am finishing up with it. I was a bright student, I just lacked fees. When we finish with this undergraduate, we are going for masters until I feel like I am satisfied. My goal is getting a PhD,” he shared.

Samidoh’s manager, Moses Marite, also extended his congratulations, lauding the artist’s determination.

“Congratulations boss Samidoh, HSC, on your academic achievement. You are a relentless champ who, no matter how hard a situation seems, never concedes. Kongole kaka.”

Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu, Samidoh’s baby mama, praised the maestro’s leadership qualities during the launch of his foundation in 2023.

“Samidoh is already a leader; he is a born leader, and it is up to him to make that decision at the right time. He is book-smart and has potential in so many things. He is talented and it is just helping him to bring them out,” she remarked. Nyamu highlighted Samidoh’s motivation and his broad range of talents, acknowledging his aspirations and the drive that has brought him to this point.

This achievement adds another feather to Samidoh’s cap, showcasing his ability to balance his flourishing music career with academic pursuits.
