Why people are sending money to Boniface Mwangi even after he lost the elections
Starehe Member of Parliament aspirant Boniface Mwangi has left his followers in awe in a simple act that is seeing him being rewarded with cash.
Mwangi, who lost the parliamentary contest to musician Charles Kanyi, mobilized fellow youths in a drive to help clean the city by removing his posters plastered all over Nairobi during the campaign period.
The rare act did not go unnoticed by netizens who congratulated him for always being an inspiration leading to some asking him for an M-Pesa number where they could send their contributions as their way of helping out.
“Today’s plan, remove my campaign posters. You can join us from 11am. Meet up at our Campaign Office: Kenya House Complex, – (opposite KEMU) Koinange Street, 2nd Flr S25,” read a message Mwangi shared on his social media pages.
This is the reaction from netizens.
