Trans Nzoia mum wins with Odibets

Before last week, Agnes Nafula was an ordinary mum fending for her family as a chef in one of Nairobi City’s buzzing restaurants. This week, she woke up to a congratulatory message from Odibets thanks to an ‘extraordinary’ bet she placed on eight games over the weekend.

She won a Sh283,856 from a Sh50 stake to seal her name among Odibet’s finest punters. Hailing from Trans Nzoia in the vast Rift Valley, Agnes lives in the vast Kibra with her husband Francis Omondi and their children.

“I am very happy about this win and will give the amount to my husband so he can come up with a plan on how to use it constructively,” she said, adding that her priority is her children’s education.

SCHOOL FEES

She revealed that one of her children is proceeding to university this year and the prize money will go a long way in helping with school fees payment.

“Her winning odds were quite unprecedented and huge,” says Daniel Macharia, Odibets lead bookmaker.

“7096.41 odds on 8 games is uncommon considering that her ticket had a few unpopular bets on teams that were not favorites as well as a few draws tipping her odds,” he added congratulating her on the win while encouraging Kenyans to bet responsibly on the soccer betting website.

Agnes joined Odibets on July 16 but has managed to turn a sum from 84 bets overall by betting responsibly.

Odibets.com is one of the few tax compliant betting firms still operational in Kenya and has churned out the highest number of big winners who place small bets.
