Another baby? Diamond Platnumz reveals emotional ‘wish’ from Zari Hassan
Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz and his ex-lover Zari Hassan are currently promoting the return of Young Famous and African reality show that premiered on May 19, 2023.
In a surprising revelation, the Tanzania singer, born Naseeba Juma, said his ex-girlfriend and mother of his two children, Zari Hassan, expressed her desire to have another child with him through surrogacy.
The news emerged during an episode of the reality show “Young, Famous, and African,” where Diamond showcased his newfound love with Ghanaian rapper Fantana.
Diamond and Fantana’s whirlwind romance has captured the attention of fans, but it was the discussion about co-parenting that took center stage.
As Diamond reflected on his relationship with Zari, he disclosed:
“Zari wanted another child with me. She wanted to get a surrogate to have the child.”
Zari Hassan is currently married to Ugandan heartthrob Shakib Cham.
In the first season of the reality show, Zari confronted Diamond over his infidelities during their 4-year relationship.
During Diamond’s extravagant Arabian Night themed party, Zari stole the spotlight, leaving the entire cast in awe.
Zari found a moment for a private conversation with Diamond, finally allowing herself to release her pent-up frustrations about constantly defending him against cheating allegations.
“Baba T, you know I was there for you like I would deny for you, I would take a bullet for you, but every time I did that for you, I stood up for you, you did the opposite,” expressed Zari, her voice filled with both hurt and determination.
Attempting to explain himself, Diamond interjected, “I can tell you the truth…”
But before he could continue, Zari interrupted, asserting:
“The 20 times I did that for you, you only came through twice. The kids and I were constantly under attack, and I had nowhere to seek refuge, Baba T.”
Diamond, acknowledging the weight of his past actions, responded, “I understand.”
Undeterred, Zari continued, pouring her heart out, “I believed you were my partner, the head of the family.
It was your responsibility to protect me, guide me, lead me, advise me, but you failed to do so. I was left standing alone, wondering where to turn. You were supposed to be there for me.”
Diamond found himself dumbfounded, unable to defend himself or justify his past behavior.
This reality series follows a crew of famed, affluent stars as they work and play, flirt and feud in Johannesburg, South Africa.
