Esther Passaris holds fast ahead of election day
Aspiring Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris over the weekend held a dry fast that has got netizens excited.
The ODM party candidate tweeted on Saturday that she was on her second day of dry fasting and focusing on prayer. Dry fasting is a total abstinence from both food and water for a defined time.
The tweet elicited varied reactions online as some users urged Passaris to keep her fast between herself and God.
Other users lauded what they termed as her selflessness in the quest to lead Nairobi County.
Day 2 on my Esther dry fast. I am about to go into worship and prayer for us to rise above hate with love and be #OneKenya as God intended.

Praying and fasting not a public affair, consume it privately, reward is public ..

If sharing our spiritual journey is not intended we would not have a bible that shares all happenings. Gods Grace needs testimonials.

It is hard. But our Nation and Nationhood is worth the sacrifice. Somehow the Holy Spirit gives us the strength. God has given me Favour.

Matt 6:16″And when you fast, don’t make it obvious, as the hypocrites do,…I tell you the truth, that is the only reward they will ever get.
