Gospel minister Size 8 encourages Michelle Ntalami to rise above negative reactions- EXCLUSIVE
Gospel minister and musician Linet Munyali, popularly known as Size 8, has offered words of encouragement to Marini Naturals founder Michelle Ntalami, who recently revealed that she has found faith in God, advising her to focus on the positive amidst recent negative reactions to a significant change in her life.
In an interview with Nairobi News, the mother of two reflected on her own experiences, revealing that she lost many friends when she dedicated her life to Christ.
“I lost so many friends after that transition. Some people gave me one day, one month, and so on, but it has been 11 years now. I am still serving God. Persecutions will always come, but everything is usually restored. I lost so much then, but later in life, God has restored all that and even more,” she shared.
Size 8 added that during her transition, she lacked support but remained focused on her faith.
“During my time, I did not have many people to walk with me through the transition, but my focus was on God.”
In a recent social media post, Ntalami revealed that she “had an encounter with God nine months ago.”
She shared the transformative experience on August 21, 2023, which led her to a profound spiritual awakening.
“I have done my fair share of publicity for myself, others, and brands. But today, I do it for the Lord Jesus Christ. I have received the greatest gift one could ever have! On the 21st of August 2023, I had a life-changing encounter with God Himself. As an astute businesswoman, life was beautiful. However, behind the success lay a heart that was deeply wounded by various human experiences along my life’s journey. Being an empath, the hurt began to take a toll. Last year, I hit rock bottom. One night, in total surrender, I cried out to God, questioning His existence,” Ntalami recounted.
The businesswoman continued: “In an instant, I felt the most overpowering rush of love and light engulf me! A thunderous, beautiful voice called my name ‘Michelle’ three times. He blinded me and threw me to the floor. At that moment, I knew I was in the presence of the Lord! Then God said; ‘Yes I am real. Yes, I have seen your pain, and I have been there through it all. Yes, I AM.’ For about an hour, God showed me visions and spoke to me about so many things in my life. The depth of this entire conversation and experience cannot be put into words. I will share in time.”
Ntalami explained that God then isolated and sanctified her, resulting in her absence from social media.
The businesswoman says He guided her on when to return to the public eye—exactly nine months from the encounter.
“Indeed, ‘When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen.’ From that day, my life has never been the same. God healed my heart and set me free. I’ve experienced a peace like no other. I’m not perfect. Walking with Christ is a journey. I was a sinner, saved by the Blood of Jesus. And my past life is a true testimony to this.”
Ntalami concluded by sharing what’s different about her now.
“First, I fully gave my life to Jesus! Second, everything I do in my life, including all my influence on social media, will be for the Glory of God. Third, I will be on fire for God because He was on fire for me! So may I decrease as He increases. And as one of the visions He gave me, may my story save souls and touch the world!”
Ntalami could not be reached for comment as our phone calls and messages went unanswered.
Ntalami’s decision has received mixed reactions, and as an ardent supporter of the LGBTQ community in her previous life, many of her conservative Christian fans are pleased with her decision.
Ntalami’s move is similar to that of social media sensation Brenda Jons, who also gave her life to Christ in 2022, just weeks after announcing her separation from the LGBTQ community.
Both cases became trending topics on social media.
