Itumbi trolled for ‘announcing’ government plans to build new stadium
Dennis Itumbi, who is the Senior Director of Innovation, Digital and Diaspora Communication in the Office of the President made the announcement on his Facebook page, complete with artistic impressions of how the stadium will look like after completion.
Mr Itumbi, also promised that this sporting facility will be ready by February 2018.
It however seems that not a majority of Itumbi’s followers are convinced.
Some of those who commented took issue with government for failing to deliver their 2013 pre-electoral pledge of building five state-of-the-art stadiums.
Other simply suggested that building a stadium in Nyeri isn’t a priorit.y
