KOT have their say about new MV Jambo ferry
The arrival of a new ferry, christened MV Jambo, at the Mombasa Likoni Channel has evoked mixed reactions from the online community.
A majority of Kenyans on Twitter were excited to hear about the 1,391 passenger capacity vessel that is expected to help ease congestion at the channel that connects the south coast to the main island.
The launch will come as a relief to at least 30,000 ferry users and 6,000 motorists who use the channel on a daily basis.
