Robert Burale to Willy Paul: Kenyan celebrities practicing celibacy

Controversial singer Willy Paul has recently revealed that he has been practicing celibacy for a few months.
Celibacy involves abstaining from sexual relationships for a certain period or until marriage.
People choose celibacy for various reasons.
In a recent interview on YouTube’s Mic Check Podcast, Willy Paul mentioned that his career has experienced significant growth since he chose to abstain from sex.
“I decided to abstain for the success of my album ‘Beyond Gifted.’ I’ve been avoiding it, abstaining for a few months. I wanted to see how my work would be without sex since then, and God has been faithful to me.
Stivo Simple Boy
A few months ago, Kibera rapper Stevo Simple Boy vowed to end his 10-month celibacy journey if media personality Betty Kyallo agreed to date him.
When asked how long he had been celibate, Simple Boy replied, “Currently, it’s been ten months.”
He further stated that he will only engage in relationships when they are committed.
“I am different from other men. Some men say, ‘Oh, I can’t stay without a woman until I engage in some mischief.’ No, this thing is about endurance. Have patience, and you will find your rib,” he said.
Sam West
Motivational speaker Sam West, the former husband of singer Vivianne, admitted to abstaining from sexual intercourse for the past two years.
In an interview, he said:
“I have been celibate for two years. Peace of mind is abundant. It also helps you heal quickly after a breakup. If you break up with someone and rush into backward relationships, it becomes difficult to recover.”

In 2022, life coach Robert Burale revealed that he has been abstaining from sex since 2013.
In an interview, Burale explained that he made this decision after his marriage broke down over 10 years ago.
“My values will not allow me,” he explained.
“It’s not like I don’t sleep around because I don’t have offers. I have offers like malaria tablets three times a day.”
“Sex is very important in marriage even for us born-again believers but it’s not everything. I have been celibate since my marriage ended in 2013. But it is God,” the preacher said.
