Senator Karen Nyamu featured in a gospel song, ‘Waambie Watulie’

Nominated Senator, Karen Nyamu, has attracted attention by featuring in a new gospel song titled ‘Waambie Watulie’ by singer Fire Bwize.

Karen has been promoting the song on her social media platforms, saying she voluntarily agreed to support the artiste by appearing in his video.

“Supporting talent is so satisfying! Waambie watulie kabisa niko na Mungu na anashugulika. Barikiweni sana. (Tell them to be calm, I am completely with God and He is taking care of everything. God bless you all)”.

In the music video, Bwize features Member of Parliament for Njoro Constituency, Kathambi Chepkwony, who teams up with Ms Nyamu in the latest music release.

The nominated senator wore a striking blue skirt suit while Ms Chepkwony opted for a chic grey ensemble.

Together they delivered a heartfelt performance, singing passionately and showing off their dance moves.

This is the second time Ms Nyamu has appeared in a song.

Last November, she expressed her excitement after making her debut appearance in a Mugithi music video.

Karen made a cameo appearance in singer Sarafina Salim’s song “Ruo Rwa Muciari”, which translates to “Pain of a Parent”.

She recently insisted that although she is romantically involved with Samidoh, appearing in the singer’s videos is not something she would consider.

She expressed her support for Samidoh’s career in other ways and stated her intention to maintain a separation between love and work.

“I cannot appear in his music videos. We do not mix love and work,” said Karen Nyamu.
