Tecno’s latest Phantom 6 to be launched in Dubai


Tecno’s Phantom 6 will get a grand global unveiling towards the end of September in what analysts have dubbed a “turning point” with its flagship.

Moving away from a known tradition of an African launch for its high-end Phantom series, Tecno have said the grand unveiling will be held at Armani Hotel in Dubai.

Tecno has been aiming its marketing at the Middle East and Western markets in an effort to grow the brand’s consumer base in these regions.

A closer look at the Tecno Phantom 6 reveals a smartphone with really good software and hardware upgrades.

MediaTek Helio X20 Deca-core processor, Trifold security system (including fingerprint, eye scan technologies), full metal body and scale-tipping Sony rear camera are some of the upgrades Tecno Phantom 6 or its variant Phantom 6+ will have.

Tecno Phantom 6, according to sources, will have one of the fastest boot time which may take just about 35 seconds to boot to lock screen mode.

ASSEMBLY PLANT

Tecno is the first company to have a mobile phone assembly plant in Africa with fully operational smart phone assembly plant.
