Hamisa Mobetto responds to reports of second DNA test for Diamond’s son Dylan

Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto has addressed recent allegations regarding her son, Dylan, and the possibility of a second DNA test initiated by her baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz.

A recent reunion of Diamond Platnumz with his children, Princess Tiffah, Nillan, and Naseeb Junior, raised questions as Dylan, Hamisa Mobetto’s son, was noticeably absent from the gathering.

Tanzanian blogger Mange Kimambi reported that she had spoken to Hamisa regarding the situation, revealing Diamond’s request for a second DNA test to confirm his paternity.

“I talked to Hamisa today and asked her if she is willing to redo the DNA test so that Diamond can have peace of mind. Hamisa’s response was that she, as Hamisa, has accepted the situation that Diamond has decided he doesn’t want the child. She has already agreed to raise the child on her own and has entrusted the child to God. Hamisa says she has handed her child over to God, and it’s God who will take care of the child. She believes that God has uplifted her in life so that she can raise her child without any disputes with the child’s father,” Mange wrote.

During a recent interview with Tanzanian bloggers, Hamisa expressed her support for Mange’s work but declined to comment on the DNA issue, stating:

“I appreciate what Mange Kimambi is doing, and I support her work so much.”

In February, Diamond Platnumz expressed his support for a Government directive aimed at ensuring the integrity of DNA testing in response to concerns raised by citizens.

The Minister of Health, Ummy Mwalimu, visited the Government Lab and emphasized the importance of conducting fair and accurate paternity tests.

Diamond responded positively to the Minister’s statement by saying, “You better say it.”

Notably, when previously asked about Hamisa’s son and paternity, Diamond Platnumz remarked, “It’s the mother who always knows who the father of their child is.”
