Actress Foi Wambui loses her dad

Kenyan lifestyle content creator cum actress Foi Wambui has announced the loss of her dad. In a post on her Instagram, the thespian shared memories that they once shared with her dad from photos they took together to dancing during a birthday party.

Reminiscing the good times they had, Foi acknowledged that she got her goofy side and humour from him and was confident that the angels were entertained by his presence.

In the video she posted, she danced together with him while he playfully imitated her which made her beam with excitement. “From the ashes we came, we must all return. And when all is done, all we’ll be left with are memories, pictures, and videos of the time we shared. Nothing would have prepared us, but we hope you are at peace and it’s nice and cozy. Till we meet again. I love you forever, pops. 🕊💛,” she wrote.

Following the announcement, fellow celebrities trickled their condolence message saying;

“Pole sana love❤️ may he RIP 🕊️,” wrote Miss Gachie.

“Pole sana Foi. Praying for you and your family,” wrote Judy Nyawira.

“So sorry for your loss Foi. May he rest in peace 🙏🏾❤️,” said Sharon Mwangi.

Foi has stirred in Sincerely Daisy, Crime and Justice, Salem, Morning After, Anda Kava, and Angaza among others. She has also won the Best Supporting Actress in a TV Drama Foi Wambui – Arielle Mufasa (Salem) in the Kalasha Awards 2022 becoming a two-time winner of the awards.
