March 31st, 2017 1 min read

Pay channel television provider DStv and telecommunication firm Telkom Kenya have partnered to offer internet at an affordable cost.

Customers purchasing DStv high definition decoder worth Sh3,800 will get a free Orange Wi-Fi router and 30GB free internet bundles in a promotion dubbed DStv Na Net.

This will be coupled with a one-month viewing of the DStv Compact Bouquet.

“We listen to our customers to understand their changing lives and what matters most to them. The Internet has today evolved into a basic need as an essential for doing business, in addition to connecting with family and friends on social networks,” said Steve Kombo DStv Sales and Distribution Manager.

“In this regard, it is therefore a key goal for DStv and Telkom Kenya to empower many more consumers to experience the best television entertainment on DStv and at the same time the most affordable Internet through easy and affordable access.”

Telkom Kenya’s chief corporate communications officer Mr George Mlaghui said the Telco is committed to providing  simple communications solutions.

“This Wi-Fi router, the Domino, is a high speed plug and play data product that supports up to 15 users. The free 30 GB Internet bundle goes to show that we have the customer at heart and want to give them the opportunity of trying out our data offering and making an informed long-term choice of Internet service provider, as a result of their experience on our network,” said Mlaghui.

Customers can purchase the DStv HD decoder bundled with the Orange Wi-Fi router at Multichoice Service Centres at T-Mall, Sarit Centre and Greenspan Malls in Nairobi as well as all leading retail and dealer outlets countrywide.
