Lillian Nganga, the former Machakos First Lady, is penning a book that could lift the lid on her experiences as girlfriend to Machakos governor Alfred Mutua.

Titled Madam First Lady, Nganga says the narration will not only offer her a platform to own her story, but also take control of the narrative to tell her side of the tale.

“From being catapulted into the limelight amidst a lot of chatter to achieving a lot under the County First Lady’s Office to eventual stepping down from the position,” she posted on Instagram as a teaser to the book.

Nganga has, in an earlier interview, explained how she met Mutua on a plane as she worked as a flight attendant.

The affair blossomed as he soon after formally parted ways with his wife and invite him in.

“We used to spend time in my apartment in Lang’ata even at the time when he was the government spokesman,” recalled Nganga.

Mutua and Nganga parted ways with each posting statements on their respective social media pages.

The break-up was not without drama though, as she accused him of threatening her and taking away her property including a car and some shares in a hotel she says they co-own.

Now married to musician Julius Owino aka Juliani, Nganga is expecting her first child and the book could also lift the lid on how the couple met.
