Another male adult sustained injuries on the leg and was also rushed to the same hospital where he was treated and discharged.

Nairobi County Commander Japhet Koome said the altercation occurred when two youths were seen putting up posters of another aspirant along Juja Road near Pangani Girls High School.

Mr Koome condemned the attack saying it was unlawful for aspirants to put up posters when polls were being conducted.

“It was very wrong for the aspirant to have let his supporters continue campaigning when polls are being conducted. But at the same time, it is was also not right for the other supporters to have attacked them, because two wrongs do not make a right,” said Mr Koome.
