Miguna: I voted for Uhuru but now regret it – VIDEO
Outspoken lawyer Miguna Miguna has shocked the online community after confessing on live television that he voted for President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8 general election.
In his appearance on NTV’s morning show AM LIVE, Mr Miguna was however quick to express his regret for voting for President Kenyatta.
“To tell you the truth Honorable Wamatangi (Kiambu Senator) I made a big mistake and voted for President Uhuru on August 8th and I regret that. But I have said that I will never ever support him, because he does not respect Kenyans and the principles of democracy,” he said.
JUSTICE AND TRUTH
Mr Miguna has previous been categorical in televised interviews that he does not have any party preference and only stands on the side of justice and truth.
In March 2009, he was appointed as senior advisor in the office of Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s, but was later suspended and eventually let go.
His comments evoked mixed reactions from netizens.
