Mpermanent! Akothee ‘confirms’ relationship with manager Nelly Oaks
Singer Akothee has set tongues wagging as she appears to confirm her romantic relationship with her manager, Nelly Oaks, following her separation from her husband, Denis Schweizer in June 2023.
The music sensation and Nelly Oaks, who have been spending considerable time together, raised eyebrows during a live session on TikTok.
In one of the Live sessions, Nelly Oaks was spotted in the kitchen preparing a special meal for Akothee, who engaged with fans from the lounge.
“This is a special dinner for a special person like you. It’s a surprise,” Nelly Oaks affectionately mentioned to Akothee when she inquired about assisting in the kitchen.
During another recent drive to work, Akothee publicly showered Nelly Oaks with affectionate terms, referring to him as her “everything,” “babe,” and “Mpermanent.”
The exchange was captured in a video where the singer expressed excitement for their TikTok accounts to be reinstated after a suspension.
Akothee and Nelly Oaks had separated in 2022, but recent developments hint at a rekindled connection.
Akothee emphasized their enduring bond, stating, “In Nelly Oaks, I see a brother, a father, a friend. It goes beyond all these things that people say.”
During the launch of her daughter Vesha Okello’s new business venture, Chateau 254 Cellar & Gastro Club, Akothee openly praised Nelly Oaks, calling him the “man behind my brand” and emphasizing that he remains an integral part of her life.
“To me, Nelly will never be an ex. That’s all, allow me to dance,” Akothee declared, taking to the dance floor with Oaks and other celebrities present.
“He has a big heart, and handling me with all my drama is a huge task. Nelly is family, and we come from far away,” Akothee expressed.
Despite the ongoing speculation, Akothee maintains that Nelly Oaks is more than just a romantic partner, emphasizing the familial and supportive aspects of their relationship.
