Nation columnist David Ndii shoots down Twitter troll over Jubilee job
Nation columnist David Ndii on Wednesday responded to a tweet by a Jubilee Party parliamentary aspirant which was meant to embarrass him.
Njeri Thorne, a political communications consultant, who is eying the Lang’ata parliamentary seat on a Jubilee Party ticket, started the conversation after she tweeted that she had met Ndii and he in fact ate meat pie and sour grapes.
Ms Thorne also claimed that Mr Ndii once applied for a job at the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA).
Let’s deal facts. @DavidNdii, did you apply for a job within Jubilee? Just a yes or no will do. No spin please.

And in his rebuttal, Mr Ndii, who is the Managing Director of Africa Economics and a former technical advisor on Public Finance to the Committee of Experts, posted a copy of an article he wrote on his weekly column.
That one tweet infuriated the political consultant who once said that Jubilee government was just a victim of skepticism on the war on graft.

Kenyans on Twitter did not take it lightly and urged Mr Ndii to educate Ms Thorne. Here are some of views of Kenyans on Twitter:
@DavidNdii @NjeriThorne Educate them@davidNdii. That is the major sickness in this country. That one of us has to be in power! Bullcrap

@DavidNdii Not shocking. The average Kikuyu has been brainwashed that they will be pariahs if one of them isn’t in power. ?@NjeriThorne
